Founded in 1900 and re-established in 1930, the Lawn Tennis Club of Foz is a historic club and an unmissable landmark in the city of Porto. Its character is inseparable from its location – next to the mouth of the Douro River, nestled against the walls of the Castle of São João da Foz and extending from the Passeio Alegre Garden. With modern facilities and excellent courts, the club combines the practice of tennis with the training of new talents, promoting competitions and social activities, while preserving the centuries-old tradition that makes the club a benchmark. The Lawn Tennis Club of Foz was the first Portuguese club to join the Association of Centenary Tennis Clubs (CCT). A club with a past, present and future.
